I adore and love your lovely finches. Broad billed ones by the looks of it, Obviously doggie don't care, wow the weather, capture a strike of lightning is my dream. Jus carry on, is 'kay, why stop, due to a little rain. *grins* Wonderful!
I don't think I"ve ever seen a whiled finch in chicago, Randall. Don't think they're indiginous to here. (Most birds are smart enough to avoid the traffic fumes.)

I love these...I look forward to their arrival in my garden this year! The lightning is an awesome capture! The first photo of the grosbeak framed with flowers is my favorite! Thanks for the nomination Randall!
It was just screaming for a nomination. Now you need to check out the flower post on picture this. I know you have some shots that would fit. Just guessing here. LOL
WOW you got great shots of them. LOVE seeing them on our feeders and in the garden. I love their call. The pics are just stunning, Randall.
